If you're not aware of this amazing event just pick a topic that looks interesting - sit back and relax... They're usually incredibly entertaining.

Also get a bit of perspective that compared to the viewing figures for popular TV very few people globally have actually watched these videos - which is a real shame.

I've watched loads of TED talks over the past 5 years - but only seen 4 of these 20. So if I can make the time I'll try and cross the others off the list - if you can only watch 1 - then watch Sir Ken Robinson's.
